About Us

Formed in 1993, Dolphin provide a range of services including telephony, call recording, call management, live wallboards, IVR, remote working, professional greetings / music on hold production, wide area networking and headsets, along with cloud-based business collaboration and ERP solutions, using our product, "Where Are You?"

We have grown rapidly over the last 5 years, to become one of the leading names in development of specialist telephony solutions for the private hire / taxi and support desk industries.

Travel

The Dolphin team don't "travel" to work.  By employing the services we recommend to our customers, the Dolphin team are able to connect and work from virtually anywhere.  For some of us, that's "home".  Our sales and engineering staff "out and about" have all the information they need online, accessed via their laptops, phones or any device connected to the internet.

Many of our customers are based around the London area.  Wherever possible, we arrange for equipment to be shipped to sites by a courier and visit the sites using the train / underground / bus.

Recycling

We endeavour to remove all packaging from site and either reuse or recycle it.  We have arrangements with one of our suppliers to periodically return carefully flattened cardboard boxes for reuse for the continued shipment of their products.

Cloud services / Thin client technology

The environmental costs of dedicated servers and PCs left switched on on people's desks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week are huge.  By utilising the shared server resources used in cloud services, combined with browser based thin client terminals, we actively promote green technology within the workplace.

We already use and deploy Google Chrome into our solutions.  The launch of ChromeOS will have a huge effect on the way we use and interact with our everyday applications.
